Various names have been discussed for the campaign but the ultimate goal of the campaign is to support the decision of a student about his/her Next Step that directs the career. Hence Next Step has been regarded as the most suitable name for the campaign.
Campaign Motto: 'what 2 do next!' / 'अब के गर्ने त!'
Theme for the Year: 'पहिले Career अनी पढाई'
Every time a student has major query regarding their education whenever they passed a particular level and such major query is 'what 2 do next!' / ''अब के गर्ने त!'' and as a whole Next Step is compact package including all the solutions for this query. Hence we thought 'what 2 do next!' / ''अब के गर्ने त!'' must be the punch line for this campaign, hereby we proceed.
Campaign Duration/Period: Jestha 1st to Jestha 31st
Most of SLC candidates are waiting for their SLC result which has supposed to publish till Ashadh second week. Till date they are quite free. Similarly 12 exams had been already conducted. Hence it’s the most suitable time for the campaign since the major targeted groups of campaign have the leisure time to involve in the campaign.
Campaign Content:
The major content of the campaign is detail information about the courses offered by various universities, education board. These information are carried in all the programs of TIMES FM 90.6 MHz in an interesting manner. Though the programs have its own content during this campaign period, the major content of the programs will be above mentioned information. Basically we talk about individual courses offered by different universities and education board with other essential and relevant information.

Next Step gives detail information about individual courses of all above mentioned academic levels with the available alternatives from various universities and education board. Individual universities have its own provision and procedure for its offered courses and education program which has not been communicated transparently as a consequence that leads confusion, in the end frustration. Next Step gives vision along with detail information about such individual courses offered by such universities/ education board.

As a whole Next Step is a social initiative campaign dedicated towards development of educated society arousing all the information regarding available education system in Nepal that will be conveyed from each and every program of TIMES FM 90.6 MHz. And definitely this campaign gives vision to all the students regarding their Next Step as well as step towards better society tomorrow.
Methodology:
The whole campaign includes information about various courses offered by various universities along with their probable job placement. Hence it requires a complete database including all these information. In absence of proper source center, the compiled data can be regarded as the primary data from the authentic source directly rather than outsourced from a secondary source.
The campaign involves the following steps:
INFORMATION COLLECTION & MANAGEMENT:
All essential information is gathered by consulting with most of Deans of individual faculty from various universities in order to have more authentic and reasonable information. Direct Informal Interview with such Faculty Dean provides all essential information for the campaign. Regarding the future job placement or career opportunities a special researcher team has been formed to coordinate with the human resource department of topmost companies from various sectors of the nation along with Lok Sewa Ayog. The major task of this group is to collect information about the annual recruitment of those companies in order to support our campaign regarding the future prospects. The main objective doing so is to provide vision to the student regarding their education. Such compiled information are managed in proper manner to enhance the programmers for conveying information in an interesting manner.
INFORMATION DISSEMINATION:
All collected information has been managed in a convenient order database to convey easily in all programs of TIMES FM 90.6 MHz. A grand information dissemination plan has been prepared for the proper distribution of the compiled database in an effective manner. This plan sheet includes one month FM program plan with their respective program content on the basis of campaign. All the presenters have been provided all the resources to make their program informative and effective.
ON AIR:
As mentioned earlier, the information collected from the preliminary field visits have been processed and developed into several program packs. The academic programs have been sorted out on the basis of its nature and the relevant information will be featured in the most appropriate programs. All the programs being aired on TIMES FM 90.6 MHz have been classified into four broad categories:
- LINK PROGRAM
These programs will not specifically focus on any academic program but provide detail information regarding all possible options after completion of a certain level of study like: after SLC, after PCL, after Bachelors, after MBBS, etc. with full faculty details as well.
- CORE PROGRAM
These programs are designed to carry out the information regarding the generalized and most common academic programs in brief. Information regarding the academic programs with relatively higher participation and prospect will be conveyed in these programs. Core programs will be based on mentioned outlines:

- QUERY BASED PROGRAM AND
There will be special episodes of interactive programs to interact with various educational experts regarding relevant matters of the campaign including individual faculty information, career prospects and general information of education system in Nepal. Solutions for queries will be solved everyday 2-3 pm in Malai Manparchabr>
- INTERACTIVE PROGRAMS
To interact with the listeners, a query center will be established and such queries collected from those centers will be carried in the query based programs with their possible solutions.
- CAREER BASED PROGRAM [NEXT STEP]
Throughout the month of Jestha evening 8-9 pm time have been slotted as Career Based Slot titled itself as Next Step which is specifically focussed on potential career option in Nepal. Everyday a successful personality from a particular field is featured and s/he will share her/his career struggle which can be the source of inspiration for all of them. Besides s/he will informed us about the prospective career option in their particular sector along with the essential guidelines.

Dissemination Calendar for whole campaign period will be released during the inauguration program with dissemination information of all above mentioned programs.

- To aware the student from PCL to Master’s Level Education System including streams and sub-streams
- To acquaint the guardian about various degrees available with their individual prospects in order to guide their children in right path

The major targeted group of this campaign is SLC passed students who are confused regarding further higher study. Some of those might have vision regarding their destiny though the way of approach to deserve it might inaccessible and bewildering. So as a solution for such SLC passed group can be this program Next Step. SLC has been regarded as one of the most valuable level in our society, the real challenge begins beyond this level, and every candidate is worried about their goal to be a successful person in life. Hence Next Step is a catalyst or a guidance to make their journey convenient. Next Step targets all those SLC students to facilitate providing them a long term visualization from PCL to PG Level.
- +2 STUDENTS:
After achieving +2 certificates or any equivalent PCL Certificate now the real destiny direct to more specific level about their Graduate Degree. Lots of options/alternatives but in real sense, just become mystification. And decision taken in such puzzlement might not result positively rather it might develop a kind of apologize in long run. Next Step targets all these groups as well, as one of its major target group. Next Step provides them a brief overview on their further study along with the career opportunities or potential job placement according to their education. The long variety of available courses from various universities for their Bachelor Study can be best for them if they have proper knowledge about all accessible courses in order to tally with their destiny.
- GRADUATE STUDENTS:
Next Step includes three major academic levels information from SLC to PG Level and definitely this is a concern of all those students who have just passed out their Bachelor Degree. They might be in a state of confusion about their next Masters Degree in an appropriate masters program and Next Step is a pathfinder to achieve their goal.

Every guardian is worried about their offspring’s future. Their major goal of life is to provide their children quality good education in order to settle their life and secure good future. Their always consent regarding their children welfare includes information about the education system of Nepal so that they can aware their younger one and suggest the proper guidance. Every guardian might not have proper knowledge about the available courses and their resultant. Next Step can be a proper guide for those entire guardians who are conscious about their children higher education. The course their children going to study is appropriate or not, is it practical or not with its feasibility options. If they have proper idea vision regarding all these then together a family can maintain their quality life style which every family search for.

Through this campaign-Next Step, not only the students but whole society will be benefited since it’s the concern of each and every citizen of the nation. For a better tomorrow everyone should have proper academic qualification to drag the society on positive pathway. And definitely Next Step will provide adequate information regarding the entire problem one can face during his/her academic career. Next Step will provide the vision to the individual overall to the nation as well, since it also includes future job prospects that will help to take proper decision.
